CES opens it’s doors today, but announcements from CES are coming already beginning of the week. A lot of surface-type clones have been announced (which means Microsoft did something right with the Surface line-up) and here three are of them.
HaierPad W1225P
Haier is not a familiar household name for me but they come out with a surface-type of tablet to the market. Intel Skylake-Y processor, 12,2 inch Full HD IPS screen, 4 GB RAM, storage 128 GB. It is slim 8,9 mm and weights 0,85 Kg. Runs Windows 10 Home.
It will be available in selected (?) European markets in Q2 with a suggested retail price from 849 € and that is with keyboard included.
Samsung TabPro S
Samsung has been known for it’s Android tablets, now they come as well with a surface-type of tablet to the market. It is ultra slim 6,3 mm, weights 0,63 Kg. Intel Core M processor, with 4 GB RAM and with 128 or 256 GB storage. Screen is 12 inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2.560 x 1.440, so the screen should be magnificent. This has GPS built-in. Runs Windows 10 Pro.
Available globally in February but the price is yet unknown. They keyboard is included but if you want the bluetooth Wacom digitized stylus, that’s optional.
Toshiba DynaPad
Yet again a surface-type of tablet but now from Toshiba. Comes with Cherry Trail Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor. It has a 12 inch Full HD screen, slim 6,9 mm and weights 0,64 Kg. 4 GB RAM, 64 GB SSD storage (in my opinion it should have been at least 128 GB) that is microSD expandable up to 128 GB. The keyboard is included in the package. Runs Windows 10 Home.
It comes with Toshiba’s TruPen stylus. Should already be available for pre-order with a starting price of $569 and it begins to ship on January 19th.
