There is still more summer left for us, but I had already my vacation time in the beautiful Croatia as you can see from the featured image on top. Beautiful waterfalls, beautiful beaches, warm clear water and hot sun.

But back to business, lot’s has happened during my last post in the Windows universal app sphere, so here are the best of my picks. Remember these picks work in Windows 10 PC/tablets as well as in Windows 10 Mobile.

The list is long, but You will find good and interesting apps for Your Windows 10 devices.

• Finally Microsofts OneDrive universal app for Windows 10 devices is here. This is a must to have.
• QR Scanner+ – Windows 10 has lacked a good QR scanner, but no more.
• For those who wish there would be Google Maps for Windows the wait is over, Maps App Discovery utilizes Google Maps API to deliver native Google Map experience. Note, this is not an official Google app.
• Story  is a powerful app with a very simple interface to create a slideshow video of your pictures.
• The official Formula 1 app is now available for Windows 10. This is a difinite must for all F1 fans. The premium features are cool.
• AllTube Player Uni universal music and video app for your PC, tablet and phone that gives you an integrated media experience. Supports YouTube, Vimeo and SoundCloud.
• Perfect Workout – your personal trainer. This app won the best app for Continuum.
• Think this is a great app for students – Calc Pro HD Free – yep, a sophisticated and clean calculator. Just wondering why the names of these apps have to be so ugly.
• Video 360 is the first mediaplayer 360° on Windows Store. The 3D Virtual Reality Headsets are supported (such as Oculus Rift, Google Cardboard etc.).
• Short.y is a URL Shotener that uses services provided by is.gd to process and shorten your URIs.
• YouTunes! – download your favorite songs from YouTube, edit their full metadata and save them directly into your music library.
• BeFriend is an open-source distress signal sending application which notifies your contacts of your location whenever you’re in danger.
• Specter is a Snapchat application for Windows 10 (not an official one), but is under development with frequent updates and new features.
• One Messenger the All-In-One Messenger App for Windows 10. Use Facebook Messenger, Skype, Slack, WhatsApp Web and many more with this App.
• Star Walk 2 is a next-generation tool for not only learning the exact position of stars, planets, constellations, comets, ISS, satellites, star clusters, nebulae and meteor showers in the night sky but also for investigating its’ depth like watching constellations, nebulae and satellites from aside. Great app.
• Forza Football with more than 420 soccer leagues and cups around the world. A must for soccer fans.
• Messenger the official messenger app from Facebook.
• Using Gmail Calendar? Well Calendar for Gmail is the right app for You. It is a great looking app with all the features You need. Note, this is not an official Google app.
• You like anime, so this is then the app for You – Crunchyroll, over 25.000 episodes of the latest and best Anime’s.
• Autodesk SketchBook for 2-in-1 devices with pen support. Subscription based, but nice.
• GroupMe free and simple way to stay in touch with friends and family, quickly and easily.
• Realarm – great alarm clock for you PC/tablet and phone.
• Easyscope Beta is an unofficial Periscope client for Windows 10. Easyscope Beta let you see Periscope live broadcasts all over the world. App supports live broadcast text or map search. After that you can watch it on your Windows 10 device.
• Over 1 million teachers are using Splashtop Classroom Assist, Whiteboard & Classroom products to increase student collaboration, scaffold technology usage in classrooms, and maximize student engagement.
• Expedia Hotels, Flights, Cars & Activities app is an easy and convenient way to book your hotel, flight or car hire when you’re at home or on the go.
• If you have doubts that you have a lot of duplicate files on you device Duplicate Cleaner is the right app for You. I just think it’s a bit pricey though.
• Yummly answers “What’s for dinner?” so you don’t have to.
• Meme’s are the things a lot of users view and create, now You can do that on Windows 10 devices with Meme Generator Suite.
• Flying with Air Asia? They have an official Air Aisia app for You, PC/tablet and phone.
• PhotoSmile is a tool designed specifically for the interesting and funny photos. App detects faces and allows to take a photo only when you smile. Forget about duck selfie and boring group shots.
• Taskfabric project and task manager for freelancers, project managers and professional users. With powerful features to manage and share large task lists, track task delegations and task progress. Limited time for free, but soon for $59,99.

Remember the free upgrade to Windows 10 expires on 29th of July, so upgrade now. It’s worth the upgrade, believe me.
